Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 12 May 2025  |  Effective Date: 12 May 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the educational programmes and services offered by Inferra. Please read this document carefully before enrolling in any programme. By using our website or registering for a programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

01 Definitions

The following terms are used throughout this document with the meanings set out below:

  • "Inferra" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" refers to Inferra, operating at 124 New Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand.
  • "Service" refers to the educational programmes, mentorship sessions, course materials, and related online resources made available by Inferra.
  • "User" / "You" refers to any individual who accesses the Inferra website or enrolls in a programme.
  • "Content" refers to all text, code, data, video recordings, written materials, exercises, and other resources provided through the Service.
  • "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions, together with Inferra's Privacy Policy and any programme-specific enrolment documentation.
  • "Programme" refers to any specific course or mentored study offered by Inferra, including but not limited to Data Engineering Foundations for ML, Natural Language Processing Mentorship, and the One-Month Crash Programme: Notebooks and Visualisations.

02 Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, registering for a programme, or using any portion of the Inferra website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian if younger), that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and that you accept these Terms and Conditions in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service or enrol in any programme.

03 Service Description

Inferra provides structured online education and mentorship in the fields of data engineering, natural language processing, and data analysis using Python. Programmes are delivered primarily online and are designed for participants who wish to build practical, portfolio-ready skills.

We make reasonable efforts to keep programme content current and to maintain access to scheduled sessions. However, Inferra does not represent that the Service will be available without interruption, and we reserve the right to modify schedules, reschedule sessions, or update programme content where reasonable notice is provided.

Our programmes are open to participants in Thailand and internationally, subject to any applicable local regulations that may affect participation.

04 User Accounts

Accessing certain programme materials may require the creation of an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, and to update such information if it changes. You must not share your account credentials with others or allow another person to participate in a programme on your behalf.

Inferra reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts where a breach of these terms is suspected, where payment obligations remain unmet, or where account activity is inconsistent with honest individual participation.

05 User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to conduct yourself professionally and respectfully in all interactions with Inferra staff, mentors, and fellow participants. You agree not to:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or republish programme content without written permission from Inferra.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the platform or related systems.
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other participants or staff.
  • Misrepresent your qualifications, identity, or affiliation in programme-related activities.
  • Submit work that is not your own for peer review or portfolio purposes without disclosure.
  • Use programme access credentials to provide access to individuals who have not enrolled.
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the delivery of programmes.

Inferra reserves the right to remove any participant who does not adhere to these standards, without obligation to provide a refund where the removal is due to a breach of conduct.

06 Intellectual Property

All Content provided through the Service — including course materials, lecture notes, exercises, code samples, and video recordings — is the intellectual property of Inferra or its content contributors, and is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal licence to access and use programme Content solely for your own learning purposes during the period of your enrolment. This licence does not permit you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from programme Content.

Work that you produce independently during a programme — such as portfolio projects you build from scratch — remains your own. Inferra does not claim ownership over participant-created projects, though we may request permission to reference them in promotional materials with your explicit consent.

07 Payment Terms

Programme fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are as follows:

  • Data Engineering Foundations for ML — ฿5,400
  • Natural Language Processing Mentorship — ฿20,400
  • One-Month Crash Programme: Notebooks and Visualisations — ฿3,600

Full payment is due prior to the start of any programme unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing. Payment methods accepted include bank transfer and any options specified at the time of enrolment.

Refund policy: Withdrawal requests received at least seven calendar days before a programme's scheduled start date are eligible for a full refund. Requests received less than seven days before the start date, or after a programme has commenced, are not eligible for a refund unless Inferra cancels or significantly alters the programme. If Inferra cancels a programme before it begins, participants will receive a full refund.

08 Programme-Specific Terms

Enrolment: Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and a confirmation message from Inferra. Places in each cohort are limited and allocated on a first-confirmed basis.

Completion: Inferra programmes do not result in formally accredited certificates or academic qualifications. Participants who complete a programme receive documentation of participation from Inferra. The practical value of any portfolio work produced rests entirely with the participant and how they choose to present it.

Academic integrity: Participants are expected to complete exercises and projects independently unless a group task is explicitly specified. Submitting others' work as your own in peer review contexts undermines the learning process and may result in removal from the programme.

Scheduling: Programme schedules, including session times and cohort dates, are communicated at enrolment. Inferra will notify participants of any changes as early as practicable. We do not commit to fixed session recordings being available indefinitely after a cohort ends.

09 Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Inferra does not represent that programme content will meet every participant's specific objectives, that a particular level of skill will result from participation, or that the skills developed will lead to any specific employment outcome or income change.

Inferra is an educational provider, not an employment agency or career placement service. Any statements about how participants have used their training reflect their individual experiences and are not representative of typical outcomes.

Programme content reflects the open-source landscape at the time of delivery. Technology in this field changes rapidly, and Inferra endeavours to update curricula regularly but does not represent that all content will remain current after a cohort concludes.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Inferra's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the programme in question.

Inferra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of data, loss of income, or loss of business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if Inferra has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory provisions of Thai consumer protection law.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inferra, its team members, contractors, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your violation of these Terms and Conditions, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party rights through your conduct while using the Service.

12 Termination

You may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy set out in Section 7.

Inferra may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms and Conditions, fail to make required payments, or engage in conduct that is disruptive or harmful to other participants or staff.

Upon termination, your licence to access programme Content ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that are by nature intended to survive termination — including intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — shall continue to apply.

13 Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, including the Civil and Commercial Code and applicable consumer protection legislation.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally. Most concerns can be addressed through direct communication.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand. Inferra does not waive the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any competent court where necessary to protect its interests.

14 General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any programme enrolment documentation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Inferra regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
  • Waiver: A failure by Inferra to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision in future.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these terms without Inferra's prior written consent. Inferra may transfer these terms in connection with a business reorganisation or transfer of substantially all of its assets.
  • Notices: Formal notices to Inferra should be sent in writing to 124 New Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, or by email to [email protected].

15 Changes to Terms

Inferra may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our programmes, legal requirements, or operational practices. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.

For enrolled participants, material changes will be communicated by email with at least fourteen days' notice before taking effect. Continued enrolment in or use of the Service after the effective date of updated terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
